I love painting horses especially catching the action of their movement. I wish I could say that my reference photo for this painting was my own but an artist friend of mine, Joan Paredes from Montana gave me permisssion to paint this saddle bronc ride she caught with her camera at a rodeo. I changed several things-less cluttered background and some parts of the horse and rider.

These are three of my paintings that were chosen for prints by the Center Stage at Hershey Medical Center that will be placed in the patients rooms to cheer them during their stay. It warms my heart that my art will put a smile on some faces.

Pet Portrait commission

After checking with the client, I will not include the dogs tags in the portrait since I feel they are distracting. This dog looks like he is smiling. Still a lot of work to do.
