#7 Theo, the Weimaraner

Painting #7 of the 30 paintings in 30 days isTheo the weimaraner. Thank you Lin Grado for allowing me to use your photo of your beautiful dog. It was a fun challenge to create the lights and hues in this photo. Weimaraners have that beautiful color with a light glow to the hair and this photo captured that and it was a lesson in highlights when I was recreating it.

      Thanks Pattie. I have been doing pet portraits a long time so I always want to capture that expression.
