#6 "Lucy" oil painting by Charlotte Yealey

My painting for day #6 is Lucy, a bulldog mix, rescued by my friend Kathy Toal Phillipsen, Even though I have never met Lucy, she has a soft and loving look and Kathy says she has been a wonderful addition to her family.

      Thank you Tam! The reference photo was the owners and taken in low light. I like the challenge dramatic shadows but I also had to correct the lighting but I am happy with the outcome.
