This is one of my paintings on display at the Hanover Area Art Guild where I am Artist of the Month for February. The theme for my display in the "Artist of the Month" window is about

Work in progress Colored pencil by Charlotte Yealey

This piece is coming along a lot better and I am finally getting the background to shape up with more layers. Colored pencil works can be frustrating because the multiple layers and the time involved but the medium is well worth it with results of great detail.

Work in progress Colored pencil by Charlotte Yealey
