Never too soon to start thinking about Christmas Cards so I am announcing my new design with a Gettysburg theme. A Civil War Santa is seated next to the Abraham Lincoln Statue with 3 greyhounds and the Gettysburg tree in the background. If you own a greyhound, love one or know a friend that does, this would be the perfect card for them. I am selling these cards  for $4 for a single card or $8 for a pack of 4 cards or $15 for a pack of 8 cards.

I am painting a lot of greyhounds since I was invited to be a vendor at the "Greyhounds in Gettysburg" gathering at the All Star Family Fun Center on April 24th and 25th. I will be there 10-5 pm both days so stop by and say "Hi". While you are in Gettysburg, stop by The Drawing Room Gallery on 333 Baltimore Street where I and 3 other local artist show our work in a co-op gallery. Hours there are 12-6 Friday and Saturday.

My painting # 25 is a from a photo I took years ago at a greyhound gathering in Maryland. This greyhound was a retired racer that was rescued and given a great life and was attending the picnic with his family. Such gentle dogs.

Yesterday I decided to paint this greyhound that my friend was fostering a while back. I love painting dogs and I really feel comfortable showing the elegance of this breed in my art.
