Big Brown is my favorite race horse so I wanted to paint him. I think I am drawn to animals that run.

For my second daily painting I chose a photo from my landscape photo reference file of a pasture. I did not include the fence on the photo and I added a mare and her foal from another
reference photo. The sky was blue with no clouds but I added some fluffy ones for a more interesting painting. I completed this is 2-1/2 hours and I feel I over worked it a bit. I don't feel the baby horse is believable.
