I really enjoyed Leslie Saeta's "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge . I am very glad I chose to do people portraits this year because It greatly helped me to improve on my speed and accuracy of creating the human portrait. Thank you all for following

Day 19 of the 30 paintings in 30 days and this has been a real challenge painting all people but I am having so much fun. This painting is of me and my daughter, Amy from a photo taken of us on Mother's Day 2014.

Day #9 of the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" I used a reference photo I took during the Rememberance Day Parade in Gettysburg of a man walking on the sidewalk during the parade. He made me wonder was he vagabond or a re-enactor,

Day #7 of the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge is a pastel from my photo of Dylan and Sheeka the cockatiel back in 2009. Sheeka was a very gentle bird and loved to sit on the socialize with people.
