My friend Wendy Erdman took this photo of her at a lure coursing practice in Littlestown last summer so this is the painting I did of her today.

#1 painting "30 Paintings in 30 Days" in 2016

5x7
oil on board
Happy New Year! Again in 2016 I have accepted the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge along with Leslie Saeta and 350 other artists around the world. My theme of my paintings the first year I participated was "Pets" and the second year was "People" so this year I decided the theme will be "Subjects I Love to Paint". My very first painting is a rabbit I photographed at a petting zoo years ago. I had rabbits as a kid and my children also had them so this is a subject I love to paint.
