#9 "Meeko" oil painting

6x6

oil on gesso board

Day #9 is a portrait of Wendi Mitel's chihuahua, Meeko-very well trained and a therapy dog for 7 years. I thank Wendi for allowing me to paint from her photo which I felt the perspective was very different and appealing.

Just finished this portrait of a rough collie named Panda. She was a show dog that ended up in a rescue and adopted by one of my customers who gave her a great life until she passed away.
